The food industry is a particularly demanding area within CUBATO’s business remit. The use of modern and functional technology is a guarantee of success in this case. Implementation by CUBATO of various facilities for the food industry, is distinguished by high aesthetic values, durability and attention to detail as well as professionalism. Completed investments include full office structure and installed utilities, technological equipment and landscaping of the area around the facility.

First and foremost, it is important to remember that in a food production hall, perfect hygiene is of the utmost importance. In order to achieve the best results, industrial halls, adapted to food production, are assembled from sandwich panels in accordance with hygiene and insulation legislation. In our facilities, we use sandwich panels with a mineral wool core and polyurethane foam (PUR), as well as the later method which uses polyisocyanurate foam (PIR).

Thanks to the structure of the mineral wool core which is a wool originating from volcanic melts of varying densities and which is used in its production, a not inconsiderable degree of fire-resistance is achieved, an important factor in this type of construction. Maximum efficiency is achieved by using polyurethane foam (PUR) and polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) in the sandwich panels. CUBATO uses all of these technologies, tailoring them to the type of particular food facility and the requirements of the Investor.

It is worth emphasising that food production halls must comply with particularly stringent sanitation and hygiene standards as well as environmental requirements. CUBATO’s steel structures are constructed in accordance with PN-EN 1090-1 and PN-EN 1090-2 and are complemented by sandwich panels meeting the strict requirements of the HACCP system for food production.

Ensuring the highest quality standards is possible through the use of excellent quality building materials approved for food contact, including:

• Foodsafe FS-1 and FS-2 shells
• The use of INOX laminate flooring, in stainless steel
• The protection of concrete floors with highly corrosion resistant, high-strength resin
